Secunia Security Advisory – Ubuntu has issued an update for linux and linux-source-2.6.15. This fixes some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially sensitive information, bypass certain security restrictions, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and potentially gain escalated privileges, and by malicious, local users in a KVM guest to cause a DoS and potentially gain escalated privileges, and by malicious people to cause a DoS.
